The qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico is complete. For the first time 48 teams will take part in the final tournament – eight more than before.

Europe provides the most WC participants with 16 teams. In 12 groups (A–L) the group winners qualified directly. Four more spots were awarded in the Play-offs.
